Godfather Movie Provided Inspiration for Hussein's Protection Strategy
According to The Military Channel's Ace in the Hole cable TV program that aired May 12th, Saddam Hussein employed tactics from his favorite movie "The Godfather" for his three-tiered protection strategy. The top tier included many names on the 55 Most Wanted list. The middle tier consisted of 25 bodyguards and 40 personal employees. "Route clearers" composed the bottom tier.
